To promote Season Four of the acclaimed Netflix series, House of Cards, we brought the show’s plot line to life. We produced a campaign headquarters and VIP/media lounge for Frank Underwood, the show’s main character and campaigning incumbent POTUS, directly across the street from the GOP presidential debate in Greenville, S.C. VIP guests, local and national press and the general public were invited to experience a bit of presidential hospitality.  The general public got to sit for a portrait behind the Resolute desk in Frank’s Oval Office and walk away with either a branded digital photo or GIF to share on their social media. VIPs were escorted to Frank’s back room and treated to complimentary southern-inspired food and drink (including “Freddy’s BBQ” and Frank’s favorite bourbon). They also got to enjoy ten-minute massages, charging stations and of course the first three seasons of House of Cards. The promotion generated national consumer media attention as well as buzz and acclaim from the creative and marketing communities. Anything for America!
